What cleaning services do you offer?
We specialize in residential cleaning, including Basic, Deep, Move-In/Move-Out, We also do custom requests for rentals, Airbnbs, and post-renovation cleans.

Do you background-check and train your cleaners?
Yes, cleaners are vetted and insured. They are independent contractors (not employees). We do not provide training but all are carefully selected.
Do you offer eco-friendly or pet-safe cleaning products?
Yes — eco-friendly and pet-safe products are available upon request.
What areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Guelph and surrounding areas.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We can provide a clean within 3 days of your booking but may be able to provide cleaning earlier.
Do you offer same-day or next-day service?
Yes — our ASAP request option allows for same-day or next-day service depending on cleaner availability.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards through our secure online system. Cards are charged only after the cleaning is completed.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
- Cancel at least 24 hours in advance: no charge.
- Cancel within 24 hours: $50 fee.
- If cleaners cannot access your home/turned away at door: $100 fee.
Do you offer satisfaction guarantees?
Yes — we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy, we’ll re-clean or refund your service in full.
Booking Specific FAQs
How do I schedule a cleaning?
Use our online booking form. If you prefer, you may request to speak with a human over the phone and we’ll follow up to complete your booking.
What information do I need to provide when booking?
Name, phone number, address, home details (square footage, bedrooms, bathrooms), clean type, and any extras or special notes.
How will I know my booking is confirmed?
You’ll receive a confirmation text or email once your booking is processed (be sure to check your spam!).
Can I set up recurring appointments?
Yes — weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cleanings are available. Discounts apply: weekly 15%, bi-weekly 10%, monthly 5%.

What’s included in a Basic Clean?
Dusting all baseboards, window sills, light fixtures and switches and any cobwebs
A General straightening and tidying up as well as garbage removal.
In the bathroom sinks, vanities, toilets, bathtubs and showers are cleaned as well as any high touch areas.
In the kitchen all cupboards and high touch surfaces like stovetops and kitchen counters are cleaned and the dining room furniture polished
A spot clean of any wall or window smudges
All of your furniture is dusted and wiped
All of the floors are vacuumed or mopped.
What’s included in a Deep Clean?
Dusting all baseboards, window sills, blinds , light fixtures, switches, door and door frames, pictures, reachable ceiling fans, vents and any cobwebs.
A General straightening and tidying up as well as garbage removal.
In the bathroom sinks, vanities, toilets, bathtubs and showers are thoroughly cleaned as well as any high touch areas.
In the kitchen all cupboards and high touch surfaces like stovetops and kitchen counters are cleaned. The inside of your fridge, stove, microwave and cupboards are cleaned.
A spot clean of any wall or window smudges
All of your furniture is thoroughly dusted and wiped
All of the floors are vacuumed or mopped
What’s included in Move-In/Move-Out Cleans?
Hand detailing baseboards vents and windows.
Dusting light switches, doors, door frames and cobwebs
Spot clean walls, ledges and door handles.
In the kitchen all countertop and stove tops are cleaned, all cupboard and appliance surfaces are cleaned. The inside of the fridge, oven and cabinets are cleaned.
In the bathroom we do a complete sanitation of the shower, bathtub, sinks, vanities, mirror and toilet inside and out.
All floors are appropriately vacuumed or mopped
What types of Specialty Cleans do you offer?
Add-ons include fridge, oven, inside cabinets, windows, and other specific tasks. Pricing is available on the booking form.
Do you handle large homes?
Yes — homes over 3000 sq ft or with special requirements receive custom quotes.
Are cleaning supplies included?
Yes — we provide supplies, and eco-friendly products are available on request.
The Clean
Do I need to be home?
No — cleaners can access your home via your preferred method (hidden key, passcode, etc.).
How do you handle pets?
Please note any pets in your booking. Arrangements are handled on a per-cleaner basis.
How long does a clean take?
- Basic: 2–8 hours depending on size.
- Deep: 40–50% longer.
- Move-In/Out or rental: up to twice as long as basic.
What happens if something is damaged?
Cutting Edge Cleaners will cover the full cost of any damage caused during service.
Are your cleaners insured and bonded?
Yes, all cleaners are fully insured.
How do you ensure safety and security?
We use encrypted systems to protect your personal data. Cleaners are background-checked and vetted.
Do you take special instructions?
Yes — please leave notes for requests like avoiding bleach or caring for delicate flooring.
What happens if the cleaner arrives late?
If late but able to complete the clean, they will proceed. If they cannot, you will receive a credit toward your next service.
Do you refund if I’m unhappy with the service?
Yes — we will re-clean or refund in full.
